The car is kinda low so getting the front wheels room to turn means widening the front too. Some one posted this picture and it made me think the stepped front fender might work. I mocked it up (quick and dirty) but it didn't look right to me, so while I thought about that issue I moved on to other items.

Headers, I had to get some tighter bends for some of it and I wish I was more consistent with my welds. :bang:
Room is tight so decide to use a Tri-Y design.

Wow great work, where in socal are you located? LoOKs like Victorville. You using a thermal arc 186? I have one and love it.

Man if you are ever looking for work....I wanna get the band back together. :thankyou:

That's $$$ right there. Nice work. Going to have to make some tough choices on the front widening. Flaring wont match the rear. Going to have to do your homework on that one. I'd probably try a combination of fender stretching but then pinch it at the door so that it wouldn't appear so pronounced. Either way looks like the biggest challenge I see. Might want to pick up a couple pairs of junk fenders if you can find them and play around with a few different scenarios.

WOW great work. You have to be proud the car looks very tough and well built. You should have one very nice ride when you are finished.

How much more width are you looking for? Maybe the Anvil widebody fenders will give you enough room so you don't have to mess around experimenting with metal. It's going to be tough to make them look decent. Good work and good luck going forward.

I'm in OC. The Thermal Arc is the first tig I've owned, picked it up 2 years ago and so far I like it, although I have nothing to compere it to. The fan is super loud.

Thanks, it took a while before I decide to post it here. So many top quality builds, but so many good ideas and help.

So far I've cut up a couple fenders and a door, (rusted out junk for you hardcore OEMs) :underchair: I'll get that posted soon and that should get me close to where I am now. Trying to get the rocker panels right is the latest. Ironworks has some nice ones on the Camaro they are building.

Thought about those but I need 2 1/2 on each side. Even thought about their fiberglass ones so I could cut and modify to get more out of them. Plus I needed to widen the front enough to match the rear.
