More updates
Sorry for the lapse in updates. Slowly but surely making progress!
Since the last time I updated you, lots of metal work has happened. Minitubs have been completed along with some trunk modifications. Firewall is being smoothed, which includes welding all holes in the firewall, bondo, and sanding. Brian welded in supports from the cowl area at the firewall to the areas where the strut towers used to be. Brian modified the front uni-frame stubs to make room for the front swaybar. He also added in subframe connectors from the rear 4 link front mounts to the front uni-frame. I installed the master cylinder and Camaro booster to the firewall and brain made slight modifications to the pedal setup. The rear-end is final assembled after returning from powder coating. Motor and Trans mounts have been fabricated with the mock-up powertrain in place. The engine is in Texas at Scoggin Dickey Racing for an overhaul. Radiator is getting picked up tonight. I had the radiator specially made to my dimensions which include an A/C condenser, Trans cooler, and fans/shroud. Wiring and fuel system has all arrived and is sitting at home on my kitchen table. The underside of the car is getting sprayed in matte black Lizard Skin which is a sound deadener and sealer. Once this chassis work is done and suspension is installed, the car is getting trailered to a close friends to complete the wiring, plumbing, and final build checks. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1529/...e9ca38d6_b.jpgIMG_16031 by kcoxphoto, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1488/...8fd259c5_b.jpgIMG_15991 by kcoxphoto, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1573/...2237aec2_b.jpgIMG_15981 by kcoxphoto, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1607/...6b68fa4d_b.jpgIMG_15951 by kcoxphoto, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1683/...53b117e7_b.jpgIMG_15861 by kcoxphoto, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1705/...d757a054_b.jpgIMG_15841 by kcoxphoto, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1576/...f06aa96d_b.jpgIMG_3145 by kcoxphoto, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1528/...737c5da5_b.jpgIMG_3134 by kcoxphoto, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1604/...59673155_b.jpgIMG_3128 by kcoxphoto, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1709/...ee653d70_b.jpgIMG_2934 by kcoxphoto, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1503/...82caa615_b.jpgIMG_2929 by kcoxphoto, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1566/...95e114ea_b.jpgIMG_2923 by kcoxphoto, on Flickr |
