I'll get to the point where I can spend 35k+ on a toy, just not there yet. I tell ya what though, that car on a real race site for sale is closer to $45-50k.....just sayin.

:flag2:

The white 07 is nice but even on a smaller budget you can find a good car to run. Just do it:thumbsup:

I'd like to have that 07.

Rob and I talked years ago that we should get AI or CMC cars... one of us actually did it. And did it right. He spent a lot of blood and sweat getting this POS to the nice state it is in now (in secret, well yes). :D

Car is ready to go and he accomplished his goals. Nice to see a few around here occasionally do that.

Will be fun to watch Sasquatch work his way up.

Mr Weld. I believe it is against the rules to peddle goods in others' threads. :rules:

Strike 1.

It's not too late DG, it's never too late....You go I go.

And not that I'm keeping track, but I'm willing to bet this isn't Welds first strike...

Both of y'all need to just do it. Not sure I've mentioned it in this thread or not but I'm working towards a CMCS car myself with my 95 GT I bought for 1k, dirt cheap. Until the Camaro gets done I'm just doing basic stuff to it so it stays a street/track car. First I made sure it's all mechanically safe. Thanks to Rob it also now has Cobra brakes all around and this week getting new 17x9.5 wheels and fresh rubber. Next week I'm taking it to the track for the first time to see how it works. You don't have to spend a fortune to have fun, it's funny how envious people get of cheap cars because they know you are having a blast and not always worried if you're going to damage the paint or whatever.

I like your 95. Post a picture of her.

If everything goes to plan then next year Steve, you and I, will run a couple track days in TX. :trophy-1302:

It was pretty funny going through airport security with a suitcase full of brake parts.

COTA during the day and pizza & beer in Austin at night.
