Don't want to derail this incredible Camaro thread, we might get banned...

If I get a chance tonight, I'll start an FJ40 thread and we can keep each other motivated.

I had a 72 FJ40 all beat to hell but I loved it. Still do like them.

I started an FJ thread over in the trucks section. Stories, comments welcome.

Steve,
On your push button parking brake switch, is it a momentary switch? When I did mine, I used a momentary rocker that you had to hold down until it was engaged as much as you wanted it, and then held down to release. Can you just push the button once to fully extend and then push once to retract? If so, I gotta' switch to this button.

Thanks,
Carl

Parking brake button

Carl, its the button that came with the E-Stopp kit so I believe that you push it once and it engages. I'll hopefully be installing the actual unit in the next couple of weeks and I'll let you know

Cheers

Yes, one quick push to engage, one quick push to release. It's not the button though, it is the controller that comes with the E-Stopp. It has a microcontroller to give it some smarts....

Thanks Don, I was pretty sure this was the case but didn't want to give Carl the wrong advice
