Jim is back on the 55. As of now bodywork is 100% done from the firewall back as well as the hood. Changing the mounts for the fenders at the core support, then wrap up the bodywork on those. Then blow it apart and button up the underside.

Hey Brent,

What a great build and amazing experience. I see you guys are using a Sniper EFI system. If I can be of service with the tuning, please let me know. I would also enjoy giving your boys an EFI 101 lesson as I was going through the process.

Let me know if I can help with that. The Sniper systems can be sensitive if not wired properly.

The best part of this build is the father/son time! I'm looking forward to twisting some wrenches with Hugh. Ya know, just to show him the old man still has it and probably to get him off some damn device!

Absolutely!! Building this with my son has been the best bonding ever. I'm just blessed he gets it and wants to do it. Funny you mention the old man still has it... He asks that all of the time.. How do you know that... Etc.. Etc... I just smile... I joke and tell him.. Ya know.. I was kind of a big deal ya know... [emoji1787][emoji1787] Of course he laughs and rolls his eyes..... [emoji849]

Well.... Sunday was a HUGE milestone. We all jumped in the Camaro for its official first drive. I can honestly say everything went perfect. Put around 50-60 miles on it. Nothing crazy... But it did everything we wanted it to without any hiccups. James and I embarked on this project Oct 19, 2018. Almost 2 years to the date it is finally done. Been an amazing journey working hand and hand with him. Something we will both reflect back on for the rest of our lives. Aside from the paint, which my good friend Jim Ramirez handled, we did everything in our garage. Not a single nut or bolt left untouched! I included a few before pics to see how far it came. Looking back at these pics the transformation not only of the car is amazing, but also those of James DuPont. He is a young man with a huge future ahead and we couldn't me more proud.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...155541a271.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...3ee2f7f2db.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...57ee9c9cc9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...cd6127305f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...260fc4e740.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...0c3e1de05e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9ae74b2469.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...df77655557.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...416d18b53f.jpg
