Where did these subframe connector brackets come from? Custom from Ironworks?

This is a beautiful setup.. Exactly what I was thinking.....

Amazing car! Is that the Autorad core support and their radiator/shroud combo?

Looks great in black! If so, have any more pics?

Thanks!

The subframe connectors are just something we came up with that was cleaner and didn't have such long thru bolts. I'm sure we could make some more I would have to figure out pricing I have no idea how long they took to make off hand.

The core support is an auto rad unit that went to the powder coater straight out of the box. The under hood is pretty simple for a 5-6 month project. The car was mini tubbed when we got it and we just scuff and shot the car fixing some issues to make it straight again. The car will be a super fun car to drive and take his family out in. Justin still wants to figure out all the interior stuff he wants to geek out on further down the road. But spring time is coming so he needs to hit the road.

Thanks for the quick reply!

How's the quality of the Autorad setup? Any fitment issues or problems lining up the front sheet metal?

We have sold and installed them for many years. I have never had one issue with anything not fitting or being out of wack. Those guys build nice stuff. 70% of the cars we build use their stuff and we sell quite a few each year. And no telling how many of those my wife sells each year. A bunch.

Just be prepared to wait a little while. They are all custom built to order.

Have you ever used their heat exchanger and condenser package? I have an LSA going in my 69 and I haven’t bought a heat exchanger yet. I like the idea of using their heat exchanger and condenser assembly as one nice stack designed to work together, but I don’t know how efficient their exchanger is compared to other options.

I have never gotten a package like that that ever clears everything the way I want and gets the best air flow. Everyone does everything different so I always mount my own.
