I am a machinist/fabricator for an aerospace company. The shop is more of a prototype shop so I get to do some really neat stuff sometimes. The funniest thing that I have done in the shop is..I cut a toilet seat in half (long ways) as a gag gift for some big-wig that was leaving the company, they said "this is for a man that is only half an A*S". We thought that was pretty creative.

I'm new here. My job title is "Sales Engineer". What I do is design and configure networks for credit companies. I make sure that your transactions get from the terminal to the host and back. There's more to it than that, but that's about the jist of it.

I know one thing, Venom will always have a job as long as I keep buying all these parts on my credit card.
And Lesrace82, there surely is nothing wrong with being a carpenter. If it were not for guys like you, we wouldn't have garages! Keep up the good work man!!! |
I've been selling parts to guys & gals for their cars since '89. I spent nine years at few local auto parts store chains and moved on to Summit Racingin 1998. I spent eight years there from '98-'05. I used my time at Summit as a "learning experience" to one day move on. I paid special attention to what people liked and especially what people disliked in hopes to use it one day.
That time came to me this year and I accepeted the role of General Manager of an established, well respected internet-based aftermarket parts business called "Streetrod Stuff". The name lends itself to be a Street Rod specific parts supplier, but that is not the case. We are a one stop shop to get any and all parts for just about any project you throw at us. It has been a blast so far and I fully intend to make this company a first choice for buying any parts that guys like us need for our projects. Rich |
Just a High School student waiting to finish up his gr.12 year. After that I'm taking a year off me thinks and working a bit. Then I'll be doing my first 2 years of Mechanical or Chemical engineering locally then going 1.5hours north(or south depending on which university I want to go to or get accepted at) for my last 2 years.
That or heavy duty mechanical. But idealy....I'd love to get my schooling done, do some post secondary and get on with GM or some well known performance parts company doing design/ R&D. I'm the type of person that wants to build it then thrash it to see how well it works and how/where to improve it. -Matt |
