I like the spoiler. Silver is a great color on these cars too. Good luck deciding on a shade.

Lenie 06-16-2014 10:12 PM

Bob the car's looking killer, I really like the way the spoiler and rear bumper shaved and tucked look. I'm also a fan of silvers, really like Mercedes Iridium silver.

Sieg 06-16-2014 10:57 PM

Nice work Buddy!

Didn't know you actually had a car

Okay you and Greg need to stop hanging out so much, your starting to sound like him. This message board can only handle one DB.

96z28ss 07-21-2014 05:48 PM

Well I have begun to dismantle the Camaro and get it ready for paint.
I pushed it outside and took some pictures.

Here is the spoiler all welded and finished. I really wanted something that looked like it could of been from the factory. Its shorter than stock and leaned back more than a stock spoiler.
Also made sure that it had an edge. When the spoiler is built off the trunk it makes the trunk look too long and out of place in my opinion.

I took some shots of the car outside and even decided to take all the protective tape off the wheels.

Wow I just went to the beginning if this thread and saw that you started it back in 2008. Bob I have to give you an A + for the tenacity to stick to your project and vision for that long as you have and not lose your enthusiasm. Many mere mortals would have walked away a long time ago. Great progress on the car but my hats off to you as an individual

This isn't overhaulin, nor is it funded with a fat wallet like yours.
If I had your money, I'd burn all mine.

I burnt mine when I got a loan from Charley. Fire didn't last very long.

Well Mario is still working on his riddler car. He isn't ready for paint yet.
Plus once it starts snowing in IL, he will forget about the Camaro and go snowmobiling
