It was great seeing you at SEMA! Hope to catch up with you soon at the 'Knotty Pine' for breakfast. --Eric |
The inner fender wells turned out so clean that I was afraid they would get cut up too much for header clearance...... WRONG...... Ironworks did their magic again (I guess I shouldn't second guess Rodger anymore).
Here is the inner fenderwell before header clearance has been added. I love this shot..... all of the fasteners are hidden! http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n...a/P1010202.jpg Here is the inner fenderwell with header clearance...... (I like it!): http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n...ust2009203.jpg http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n...ust2009202.jpg http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n...ust2009208.jpg http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n...ust2009209.jpg --Eric |
Man, That Kinsler Crossram looks great on there. We might have to try a Precision Manifold just to see what it loks like, I have one laying around, Should we give it a try? What do ya think?

Eric --
I checked out your Nova on my way home from SEMA -- it's killer! And as you pointed out - Ironworks just does fantastic work. Love the Kinsler X ram too! |

It was great meeting you at SEMA. Hope to catch up to you again someday. The Kinsler Cross-Ram is Rodger's....... I had him put it on there for this latest batch of pics. Maybe he won't miss it.............. --Eric |
I might not miss the crossram, it is the 484 cu in LSX with Allpro heads that was port matched to that Kinsler manifold. Would be interesting in there but would be alot of power for a daily driver.

Lookin awesome!!

And how much power is under the hood of the Farm Truck ?? |

If you look at the Kinsler Cross-Ram in the pic below, you can see fuel rail below the manifolds AND you can see that the manifolds are machined to accept two more fuel rails on top....... serious fuel flow (hp) there!!!! http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n...ust2009209.jpg --Eric |

In any case, pictures of both please :unibrow: Matt |
Amazing stuff. It's like watching a top build and a comedy channel special all in one. Keep it coming.

Precision Metalcraft Manifold..........
Here you go! Sorry for the delay....... The internet is a little slow sometimes between here and Bakersfield.
Sure fits nice. http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n...ber2009031.jpg http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n...ber2009030.jpg http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n...ber2009029.jpg --Eric |

Also I vote Cross Ram..

I like the Precision Manifold for the fact it is smooth just like the rest of the car. The engine looks like a Diamond in the jewelry box. Nothing sticks out more then the other to your eye. The Kinsler is awesome but just the wrong style unless we cut up your car even more.

If Kenny Davis gets into the mix it gets worse. Lookin good Eric, I like the lines of the precision manifold it flows better with your inner fenders. But what do I know! |

We are about to do more on my Nova. There is a lot of detail work to get done, like fully welding the frame, etc. We are, however, digitizing the control arms..... which will lead to the design of billet control arms. Right now, the goal is to get it on the ground, verify suspension geometry and steering geometry. --Eric |
