What happened to all the 335-345s that were all over the place 4-5 years ago?
|
Oh, BTW there a bunch of 305/35R20s as well as 315/35R20s and a couple of 325s too. Found some 335/30R20s as well. And I answered my own question and found some 345/30R20s also
|
We should probably take this to another thread so we don't muck up Bills post. In the meantime, one quick reply. I am currently running a 295/40/20 BFG KDW on a 9.5" rim. If my calculations were correct, a 315/40/20 on an 11" rim would fit with out tubbing. Unfortunately this combo is my Unicorn and doesn't exist.
I'll probably run the 295 on a 10 or I hear a 10.5 is in the works. |

hey guys havent logged on for a while sorry for not answering your questions ive been working on a new project and set the truck aside for a little. ican see the tire questions have been answered. my wheel offset is 6 out on the back and 4 out on the front but i dont think they will fly on a stock set up. if you need any spec measurements pm me an ill give you my #. ill be back to working on the truck as soon as my camaro is done. thanks bill
|
well i took a little time off of the truck to build myself a ls powered 69 camaro, now its done and i cant wait to finish this truck. i have to make some inner fender liners and im going to make a new dash out of metal. after those couple fab items im going to take the whole truck apart and paint it red to match my camaro.(the black looks cool but its a royal pain to keep clean) i have put about 700 miles on the truck and have worked a lot of little bugs out. thanks for checking in. bill

Lets see some picks of the Camaro Bill!

Very nice Bill. You are the g.d. man in my book! :hail: :hail:
|
Very cool drift truck!
|
Just your basic "keep it simple" build I see. Of course when your a metal master, "keep it simple" takes on a whole new meaning....
|
thanks guys, but im just a novice metal shaper,my dad (larry) is much better. he came up with the design for the fender wells. when im working on this kind of stuff hes always giving me a whole bunch of much needed direction. these fender liners were tough , the first set i tried to build on my own ended in the trash. thanks again bill
ps this truck wheel hops terrible, any tips? |
WOW!! what an awesome build.I love your work. Scott
|
WOW! That is some time consuming custom work. Did you move the radiator down? Are the stock fenders still under your work?
|
few dash pics ,starting on console. yes this is time consuming work but its worth it (dollar for dollar this custom fab work is worth every minuite). these are the last few fab items before i break the truck down for final paint. hopefully mid april, ill get hot and heavy on final paint.im shooting for colombus goodguys for completion. thanks for checking in bill

FWIW --- I'd continue the "rounded molding look" on the top of the console to tie it all together....
Super killer looking Bill!! |

Incredible build! I am trying to talk my brother to go in that direction with his build. Maybe not to that extreme, but at least LSx series.

That flush mount and shaved drip rail pic is insane. Niiiiiiice!! :wow: |
I would love to see the truck parked next to a stock C10. It would make it all the more impressive.
