They should be band from this site! Im tired of seeing them:_paranoid

Stielow 02-13-2009 08:04 AM

Should finish the engine wiring tomorrow and deliver the engine and trans to go in the car Sunday. The guys at Reiter's are doing a great job. All the panels are painted and ready to install after the drive train is in the car. All the glass should be done today less the windshield.

Only 18 days until the car has to be in Cobo hall for Autoramma..:_paranoid

I'll shoot some more photos this weekend. Last night I just grabbed a couple shots.

Mark

160 MPH speedo... now, that's funny.

awr68 02-13-2009 05:18 PM

Is that a stock finish on the wheels? They look great and easily cleanable!

n9013c 02-13-2009 09:47 PM

Charlie - I know you really do like Butternut Yellow... It'll look good when get the car home to 'Jackass Acres'. :D

Great. Now I can just picture you driving down the freeway in this thing at 45 mph in the fast lane with your blinker on for miles...

Stielow 02-16-2009 06:17 AM

The wheels from the first post are Corvette Z06 these are ZR1s

clill 02-16-2009 06:46 AM

I already feel like I'm going fast with those switches.....

ironworks 02-16-2009 07:17 AM

Car looks awesome with those wheels.

camcojb 02-16-2009 07:17 AM

those brakes and rotors are just trick. Get those guys to straighten/level that rear bumper so Charley and I don't have to do it on Power Tour................ :) Car looks awesome guys, great job.

Looks great  I like how you guy's are keeping the outside kinda stock ie; Bow tie emblem, factory mirrors, and trim. "The wolf in sheep's clothing" type. The pedal looks like the GM Harness DBW piece, but I would guess it is not as I thought I read the ECM on a LS9 was not a E38 unit. Keep the pictures coming!

thedugan 02-16-2009 02:08 PM

I kinda like the other wheels on the car. They both look real nice and the car is killer, I just like the look of the other wheel better.

Either way its an unreal ride.

Steve1968LS2 02-16-2009 02:11 PM

Man 'o man.. very nice blend of the classic and the leading edge tech.

The "drool" smilie seems woefully inadequate...

tones2SS 02-16-2009 03:00 PM

That is looking KILLER!!!!
Love the "old school" look with the modern technology. AWESOME!!!
Keep us posted.

customcam 02-16-2009 03:02 PM

Absolutely awsome! Charlie and Mark my hats off to you :hail:

awr68 02-16-2009 03:49 PM

See the old man was right, yellow works!!

Serpa69 02-16-2009 07:16 PM

Are you going to space out that rear wheel closer to the fender lip?
