Thanks for the props guys.. but this one is being assembled by the owner & we are just supporting what he needs to get this Bird done.. We both are looking forward to the rewards of seeing this car on the road..

Al- We do not run any brake or fuel lines in the cab of the car.. We need to plumb one more fuel line & then we will post some details just for you..

Greg- We need to re-work the bracket to clear the column.. Currently have no plans to make more other than what we have for this car.. The gas pedal is a one off pcs.. We make another pedal but not great as this one..

Looks like a factory 4th Gen F-body setup.. with some very cool detailing.

Cris@JCG 03-03-2013 08:31 AM

David- The drive system is out of a 2006 GTO.. & the alternator is very close to the lines on the rack n pinion but we are looking @ making some kinda of custom fitting .. I really like the alternator low as on this system but @ times can be difficult to run due to power steering lines & when running engine cooler lines..

I really perfer to run stock GM track systems..

here is a picture of the custom fitting that were done for the power steering pump... A banjo for the pressure & -10 for the feed on fluid to the pump.. Custom tank is in design right now...

Cris@JCG 03-03-2013 09:01 AM

Here is another preferred GM product we like using here @ JCG.. On our T56 Magnum conversions we use the F-body/GTO clutch throw out bearing & like to enhance it with the option to remote bleed it & for plumbing with transmission removal make our own adapter to quick dis-connect the lines from the transmission..

It has been awhile since we had any updates on the Firebird.. Sorry! Here is the latest on this build.. Getting the engine bay assembled & detailed.. Still designing a few more pcs…

Got a new power steering reservoir we will be making tomorrow.. just got pcs from the machine shop.. The pass side reservoir is a new air oil separator that we will be testing on a car next week.. just used the bird for mock up..

Got the new brake reservoirs that Wilwood is now making…

http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7792269d.jpg

The factory oil dip sticks needed some cosmetic enhancement… Use the factory tube.. cut it & silver solder a new end with shortened tube…. Cut the dip stick indicator & use our new t-handle…

http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...pse8f95a8c.jpg

Cris@JCG 05-05-2013 10:26 AM

We made a few extra prototypes... Just need put a plan together on how to offer these dip sticks for sale.. More than likely I will buy LS3 ones from GM & do the work in house to offer it as a complete item we sell.. need to get manufacturing cost this week to be able to have end user pricing..
