I love the fact that these renderings keep the spirit of the car, it looks like a factory color and the body mods are so subtle that it seems to be stock.
More and more builders are modifying the body lines, adding body kits and painting the cars Porsche or Mercedes gray  ....
I think these old cars lost their original spirit when they are too modified.

Have you tried a rendering with the door handle ??
This coronet is mental, its a badass sleeper !

BTW: I prefer the one without the vinyl top.

76orangewagon 01-23-2013 11:16 AM

I hate to keep bringing this up but ......any updates ?

Radlark 01-27-2013 11:19 AM

Maybe someone can answer this for me, did they cut a hole in the dash and then build a bucket and then tack welded the bucket to the depth they wanted and then trimmed the excess and then tig welded it and grind it down?

That, or they mocked it up in the dash to trace the contours (of the dash) to trim it before final installation/welding.

Well, Im back, been well over a year since I made a post, things have been real slow the last 12 months with our economy taking a big dive and customers having a hard time financially especially those with business' add to the fact that my health has'nt been the best, but hopefully now an election has been called we will get some movement again in the economy and some confidence from the business community to start investing again especially in cars (hint hint)we've still had plenty to do, just the bigger doller builds had slowed a heap, still its allowed us to put out a finish up a few cars that had been hanging around too long.So here the last 12 months catch up on the R/T its in the body dept now and should be in Paint in the next few weeks.

Shane, nice to heard from you.

Finance "tsunamy" hited also down under. Same thing in Europe.

Coronet looks awesom, workmanship is mind blowing as usually from you. :hail:

The fender louvers, you have some cooler down front there, or for exhaust?

groovyjay 08-15-2013 10:38 PM

Man, this is going to be spectacular when finished!

The grilles are for the water to air condensors for the intercoolers,Ill post some pics up of the intercoolers they are a work of art made in Australia by PWR.

Rick D 08-16-2013 04:49 AM

Glad to hear things are looking better!

And very glad to see an update on this one:bow: :hail:

Beautiful as usual!!!

Leadfoot1 08-16-2013 06:21 AM

Man.... Not only is the car killer, i cant get over the shop's cleanliness!!! Thats how i like it! It makes you wonder if any work gets done there lol!!!!

Kidding apart, i think that the shop reflects a lot of the builders personality and his way of doing thing.

You seem to be VERY well equipped!!!

Do you have customers that are on here with other projects? Id like to see more of your work!!! There seems to be quite a few nice rides under the knife over there!!

Thanks for the pics, AWESOME work!!!!!

Lead.

Oh, and, was choice of color mentionned or if its still under guard?

tones2SS 08-16-2013 04:47 PM

Outstanding build. Keep us posted on this one.
How about some info on those cars in the background? I saw a 'cuda and a Fastback in the background.

Sieg 08-16-2013 05:02 PM
