Here are a few pictures of the motor, I'm speaking with Tom Argue (He did a lot of work on "Evade") about doing my DSE close out in carbon fiber and relocating the coils off of the valve covers. I think a little more carbon is needed to set off the motor compartment and moving the coils will definitely clean things up under the hood :unibrow: Also getting the car ready for the spring show in daytona this weekend :D

Looks very clean, glad you painted the Fast intake black. Looks alot better.

Evil.

Looks great Chris!!!

I'd mount the coils on the firewall to the left of the engine to help balance the look of the engine bay if that's possible. Maybe have them make up a carbon fiber panel to mount them too. Just my $.02...

So I took the car to a local chevy dealership today where they were hosting a Chip Foose/Overhaulin car show. There were a lot more cars there than I expected, I pulled in and they were already full so the guy had me pull right up front, thought that was pretty cool :D The car show was good, lots of people (for a tuesday afternoon) and some pretty cool cars. So then I'm driving home, stop by my office and as I'm leaving the clutch pedal feels funny, but I keep driving, get to a traffic light about a mile away and the clutch pedal goes to the floor :_paranoid The threaded rod that connects to the back of the clutch pedal bracket sheared in half  Guess thats the fun thing about our cars, there's always something to fix, even it is brand new stuff.

The mods never stop. :D

Good timing though, beats having it go pulling up to the dealership.

Cheis the black intake makjes a big difference. I like it better that way. The engine bay looks awesome. You did a great job. everything came out great.

Got the new slave cylinder fixed yesterday, put in some new plugs and she's all loaded up ready for the show in Daytona this weekend :D

Yes, the FAST intake looks much better painted black, it really finished off the motor compartment.

Tom, sent you a PM.

Just ran across this thread. What a great looking car!!! Great idea with the wheels. I wish I had thought of something along those lines. I wanted to incorporate black into my wheels, but just couldn't put my finger on what I wanted. Your car looks great.

A lot of people thought I was crazy when I ordered the wheels that way but it has honestly been one of the first things people go to and gawk over!
