Looks great! :)

The whole face on the dash is going to be removable.. so when Matt(Anvil) comes by & checks it out.. You just never know what can happen! :D

We will see what happens on producing the dash.. if we can keep the modification to a minimum to fit the dash.. I think it would be easier to pitch to Matt.. Using a Ididit column, JCG column mount, & carbon fiber Sparco steering wheel..

Good talking to you @ RTTC.. Dig your 68 Camaro

T_Raven 03-02-2011 08:39 PM

Reservoirs look great. you've gotta get rid of that ugly plastic piece for the booster vacuum line and make an aluminum one lol.

agreed.

Cris@JCG 03-03-2011 08:18 AM

I will get on that ASAP Traven!! LOL..

Not that easy to just make one out of aluminum... It has a check valve built into it.. but I did disassemble one this morning... Hmmm.. Maybe we will make one!

You can do it! That's what I like most about the stuff you guys build is how creative you get with the machining. I'm sure by the time you've thought it out for a couple days you'll have an entire billet booster in the works

Couldn't you hide the check valve in the hose somewhere, closer to the engine maybe?

Cris@JCG 03-03-2011 12:51 PM

Thanks! I forgot they have inline check valves..

Console

We have been making some progress on the console.. We have the basic structure in place & will let the interior guy finish it up.. Owner wanted to make sure we had cup holders for his Big Gulps!

http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...n/IMG_1002.jpg

Shifter/cup holder plate..

T_Raven 03-09-2011 08:18 PM

you gotta make them cup holders gyroscopic so he doesn't spill on the autocross

GregWeld 03-09-2011 08:22 PM

Your right about that! I ought to buy coca-cola stock; I don't get in the car with at least one. Great job cris. the DVD looks right at home too.

scherp69 03-10-2011 09:53 AM

As always Chris....amazing work. You're timing on posting pics of the console couldn't have been any better for me as I'm starting my console today and am also doing it out of round bar. Is the console connected to the dash, or just really close to it? I've read different views on whether or not the console can actually be attached to the dash.

youthpastor 03-10-2011 11:43 AM

wow- thanks for the inspiration- it's coming along fast!

tones2SS 03-10-2011 05:17 PM

Cris@JCG 03-10-2011 07:03 PM

Thanks for the complimets guys! The owner of this fine jewel just keeps letting me do some cool stuff.. I call him last nite & tell him I have an idea for the center console shifter plate with cup holders.. & all he says.. Is go for it!

Plus.. The transporter is picking up his sons 70 Mustang tomorrow & shipping it to me so that we can do some enhancements to it.. 16 year old kids first car.. Lucky Kid!
