Tyler,

Just be careful not to let school get in the way of finishing this car in a timely fashion.

Lol dont worry! the plan is to finish up the intake and final wire position, finish the radiator hoses, and tidy up odds and ends. Then real soon it will be going by a friends shop where he will work on the bumpers and under the hood stuff :_paranoid :D. Then we will measure for our Ricks stainless tank and order it up. Following that we will bend up the exhaust and put body on rotisserie and blast it.

Thanks guys! She is coming along quite fast. The weather is beautiful right now and we can work with the doors open. It will slow down a bit but we want to make it right and get a few test miles on before columbus next year!

56pickup 03-27-2012 03:13 PM

Ordered a 90 degree coupler for the air intake and a filter from Anderson Ford Motorsports today. We are going to have to make the tube from the 90 to the filter and weld in a bung for the MAF sensor.

Other than that we have been tinkering with a few things and still finishing up the hoses for the radiator. Also notched the transmission cross member for the exhaust. We picked up some exhaust tubing and ordered the magnaflow mufflers this week also.

I will get some updated pictures later this week.

Anderson Ford Motorsports 8" Filter. Very impressed with the construction of the filter

http://i1017.photobucket.com/albums/...8/b8fc95e4.jpg

The 90 elbow came too. it is a 4" - 3.5" reduced elbow and it fits a little loose on the thottle body so we are either going to have to exchange it for a 3.5" - 3.5" or run a reducer to make it work. We have to pick up a aluminum 3.5" pipe and weld a bung into it for for the MAF sensor yet. Other than that we have been working on a few little things like aluminum body spacers and finished the radiator hoses and they turned out really nice.

I will post more pictures tomorrow  :lateral:

The car is going by a friends shop to have the bumpers tucked and modified.

D Hooks for when transporting so you dont have to wrap the strap around the rear end. All you have to do is reach under and put the hook in there. They are stainless so no rust.

The computer will be tucked away in the passenger fender and will never be seen when we make new inner fender panels

Pretty slick. Are you going to have an access panel for the diagnostic port on the PCM?

We sure are! We were thinking of putting the pcm under the dash but i think this will work out better.

Nice to see some progress. That looks like a nice place for the ECU.

Thanks Wayne! Progress has been slower but we have been picking up parts in the meantime. Picked up a red top optima, some magnaflow mufflers, and some 2.5" stainless exhaust tubing. Also have been playing with different intake setups and we are going to start machining a mass airflow sensor housing.
