That was great.
I am just honored to be mentioned among the best.:lateral: I came from Van Nuys, that is why there is no Intel. Plus I ride on the short yellow Bus. I would be honored to scatter my Engine trying to beat you guys someday... Then I can build a new one..:cheers: |

Actually the car (Z/28) is from Van Nuys...And I was hatched in Bellflower in 1959. I am up in the Bay Area now. See, I threw you off my scent...And my scent got me thrown off the Short Bus... I am itching to have my LT-1 gone through, but the Wife thinks I have spent enough... I may have to drop my car off for a "tune-up", haha... Also I will have to cut my teeth on the Autocross first... Or just be the Pace car/Lap car on the big track.. |
Got it :D

Dude, that ranks right up there amongst the funniest vids yet. Had to pull Cassie in here to watch that one---she made a couple funny comments;
"Greg Weld works on cars?" "Wow, it seems like Dave talks a lot about Todd now" "Dave's not really that conceeded is he?" "He said you might put a posi in your car--so that's the lady that drives really fast right? So she will help you?" "Why does your friend have a picture of a chipmunk instead of a car on his little thingy?" "Shouldn't Roger be made fun of also?" LOL--it was almost as good as watching the video with her. D |

3,300 lbs with a half tank of gas! No wonder that thing scoots so damn well! What is the factor weight on a 55 normally?

Well -- Gaetano and Dave G came up to watch / hang out at Sonoma (ex Infineon - ex Sears Point)... and sadly -- I only got to run a little today. Seems guys in my group kept punching their cars into walls... and my group runs were cut short by the carnage.
On another note - might not make this event now - 'cause the motor in the Mutt dropped a valve cap on the last go 'round and upon further review managed to beat up the valve stem in the process... so the motor comes out and gets a freshening/fix at Tony Odo's shop and the shop I left it at (McGee's at the track) won't touch it until after Monterey Historic's... so between not getting right on it -- and whatever Tony's schedule is -- who knows if it'll be track ready. |
Will anyone actually own a running car when this day comes? :rofl:
|
I also got into the wall on turn 7 just enough to put some wall paint on the car.... Seems turn 7 was eating cars all day...
I'm sure Charley will be posting pics since he took a dozen of them of my damage to "his" car... Jack (the builder) was broken hearted as well...:wow: :faint: :D |
