I was going to ask if the Singer that sold on BaT for 1.1 million made you smile or gave you hope for what you might be able to get for your car should you ever decide to sell.
Regardless, I love how your car's coming together. I appreciate the build photos since it seems finding build photos on high end Porsches isn't that easy. |

Ah yes, I watched that one closely and here is what I can tell you without causing a sh$%! storm. I know some someone that is very connected to that car specifically and I can also tell you that money and the name aside my car has been built SIGNIFICANTLY better and I would take mine over that purple one any day of the week. There is a reason that that one was commissioned and then hit the open market so quickly .... just saying' Trey, THIS is what I love doing ... designing, creating and sharing what is possible in the world of resto-modding to inspire and provide ideas to all the folks that watch my builds. I believe I have a small bit of talent for getting these builds right and so far I've been very lucky to have sold all of them all for decent $$$ which enables me to fund something even cooler or crazier ! LOL Skip ... I wish I had that kinda $$$, but again my friend things are not as they seem Cheers Steve |
Trey, here are a few more 'detailed' pics, like I said this is over the top on the detail

Steve,
Since we don’t see 911 builds here, the more detail shots of your car the better. Very interesting to see one done like this. |

Skip ...absolutely So I'll let one cat out of the bag, Ryan is correct in that I just found out that the car will be featured in the front hall of the Motorama Car show with the top 16 cars in Canada and some of the cars that will be coming over from Autorama. May 1st weekend ... She will be entered as 1st time shown This all happens IF she gats fired up, tuned and completed in the next 4-6 weeks so stay tuned. I'll be taking and showing a TON of detailed pics from the show like I Did with the 69' Camaro in 2018 Cheers Steve |
Lol that was a safe bet... now dont sell this one lol
|
Thanks for the detailed picks and info, Steve! I'd say you're doing a great job at getting your builds right.

Congrats, that is great news! Thanks for sharing it with us, and I hope things go even better than planned these next 4-6 weeks. |
I'm not much of a Porsche guy but that's really nice. The color you chose kind of reminds me of some of the colors used in the 30s and 40s that weren't flashy but had a certain richness and elegance but subdued.

I now know that the entire spec of the car is coming perfectly, nothing on the car is too flashy but all the elements working together so perfectly has produced a car that I believe will be exceptional. And its comments like "I'm not really a Porsche guy' but I like it ! that truly reflects the proper decisions that were made over the past year and a half. Thanks to everyone again for the positive comments and the support !! Cheers Steve |
Update
Morning guys ... playing a little catch up here after a month or so of silence
LOTS going on, but obviously we missed the Motorama car show (that I went to yesterday) we are literally 3-4 weeks away from being done ... Here's a few of the interior finishing details https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...82b13a88_b.jpgIMG_2519 by Steve Heck, on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...12d7e7c1_b.jpgIMG_2517 by Steve Heck, on Flickr |
Sorry you missed the show, but there will be many more you can attend in the future. Great car!

This week is a big week, possible that the entire exterior of the car may be complete Stay tuned Cheers Steve |
I was wondering how the car was coming. I was also hoping for an unveiling at the show. I'm sorry you didn't make it, Steve. It's worth the wait though. That interior looks fantastic so far. The colors really go well together.
|
Very nice Steve!
|
Thanks Trey / Joe
So the finish line is in site !!! TFX scheduled to pick up the car between June 3 and June 9 ... and I've booked a flight to LA for June the 1st to see a 100% completed car !! Cannot wait and post the final pics Cheers' Steve |

Time to fly
Well guys .... heading to LA tomorrow morning !!
Stay tuned Steve |
Well, I have good news and bad news ....
Lets start with the bad, car was not as far along as I'd hoped. LOTS of little details to get wrapped up but now everything should go fairly quickly Good news ... Well the farther along it comes the more spectacular the car looks AND got the opportunity to take it for a spin !!! Fast - CHECK Sound amazing - CHECK Few things to dial in but once we do it will be sooooo good Quick acceleration video ... Note: we believe the valves are closed / quiet mode on the GT3 exhaust https://youtube.com/shorts/YQ5oyY34kaQ?feature=share https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...22f26ac_3k.jpgIMG_5248 by Steve Heck, on Flickr |
