wow looks really good.. you should make those front valances and sell them..:)

Lenie 08-08-2010 04:38 PM

Thanks for the positive remarks folks. I do like the front valance, it's actually one of my favorite alterations on the car. I recently bought a vacant lot to build another house on and have been getting the one I live in ready for sale which is cool, unfortunately it means the car has had to take a back seat until I'm finished. I did get the ss brake lines in which turned out very nice (hard to photograph) and have powder coated a few items. Was a little bored this morning so I had my son shoot a few pics. Thanks again.

Yeah Lenie -- because your other house was obviously too small.... LOL

Car looks good.

waynieZ 08-08-2010 06:32 PM

Thar paint work is awesome. So how big is the garage going to be?????

Lenie 08-08-2010 07:08 PM

Greg, funny you and Wayne bring that up. Never thought I'd be building again. Moving from Port Orchard to Tacoma and the Only reason is SHOP. I wanted a shop and my wife wants to be able to park in her garage. Go figure, women:lol: Actually my wife suggested the idea and off I ran. I'm still tinkering w/the car but not enough to really get anywhere.

Are you kidding! :D I moved off the tip of Yarrow Point - waterfront - just to have a shop! My wife found this house - and all she said was -- "okay - well then, I want a pool..." DONE!

EEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAA :woot: :woot:

Looks great Lenie! We missed you this year at the GG's show!

slyck68 09-26-2010 06:56 PM

Car is looking great. What are your plans for the rear bumper? I hate how bulky they look from the factory and I'm sure you've got something up your sleeve! Thanks for the motivation to get back in the garage and start wrenching on my 'Bird!!

Thanks, I used a 68 camaro bumper , narrowed it to get the gaps right, shaved the bolts and painted it black.

Lenie --- Building that house yet??

Lenie 10-03-2010 07:25 PM

Hi Greg, the world keeps spinning while I stand still trying not to get dizzy.:willy: The answer you seek would be no, currently having wetland survey and geotech done. They want my money to tell me the land can be built on, this will be a long process. Just getting ready to put mine up for sale, along with possibly buying another piece of investment property. Like I said, the world is spinning and I'm just trying to figure out where I'm going to land, hopefully pouring foundation next spring. Thanks for asking.

Couldn't take it anymore, had to go out and work on the car a little. all lights installed including the Marquez driving lights. By the way, nothing goes as planned with ease, but it felt good to take a little break from the house and work on the car.

It's the write up that sold me on the product, yep, it's all about the advertising skills.
