Thanks Jeff.... oh man the old Vertigo... haven't thought that (or suffered that) in a long time. I basically learned how to not build a car  -- rookie project manager mistakes and the like.... yet somehow I make some of the old mistakes as well as new ones on this thing. :smiley_smack:

And since I built that car my interests and goals have changed... just slightly. :D

We def have to get some guys together around here. Would be a great time. Lots of people making good progress and coming close to finishing cars it seems. 2014 could be a good year.

mdprovee 08-13-2013 07:52 AM

Dave, I cant wait to see it in action.

MX145 08-13-2013 08:42 AM

Your new wheels made your car look much more aggressive! I like it!

Nessumsar 08-13-2013 04:46 PM

Oh myyy!

You know I like it Dave... lol

Can't wait to she her in person after the makeover.

Camaro is looking killer Dave!

Flash68 08-16-2013 01:49 AM

on the dyno and just waiting on a couple little things to button it all up... day to day at this point

http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/f...ps2a77658f.jpg

Had to drive a little further to pick up some green Scribners, but it was appropriate... gotta love "race fuel" for $3.19 a gallon

http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/f...psd6866e3d.jpg

did a little chemistry test... the beer didn't win (but it did taste better)

Came out to E88... that's a lot of detonation protection :slingshot:

As soon as the engine is safely off the dyno, the car, engine & remaining loose items will be going down to see the Fab53 man Brett Campbell for some fab projects and to get this thing on the road (track) ASAP. :bigun2:

Well if that ain't a layup.... I'll leave the SS alone for now. :D

I'll have the 2nd rendition of this engine done in a couple years before you're even picking colors for the drapes up there in Retirement Valley.

Yes, I will absolutely be down to Fab53 at some point. I have to make sure Rob does not coerce Brett into making any Ferd type mods on my car. :action-smiley-027:
