Diffuser is 90 percent done. Just waiting to figure out where the exhaust is going before putting the final touches on it.

I also started making what is, hopefully, the last decent sized fab project - a rear spoiler. Ordinarily, I would prefer the clean look without anything on the back of a '65, however the front valance is 2" lower and adds a ton of visual weight, and I felt I needed to do something to the rear to help match that. I like the way the Camaro spoilers bolt on, so I started making something similar.

The diffuser looks good, Matt. Not sure on the spoiler but you're the designer so I'll be patient. I'm definitely curious to see what you come up with. Good luck!

Diffuser looks hot, you are creative buddy...

What are you doing for a fuel tank, stock location? Looking really good!

Diffuser looks great but has it been proofed yet?

I like the rear spoiler, I think it should be taller to match the roof line. Maybe a side shot is in order. Oh and thanks for not doing the Tyler dip in the center. : )

Doing good work over there. How is everyone?

Yep, stock location. It's a Rick's Vaporworx 22 gallon tank w/corner pickups. Really well made piece! I had them weld the mounting flange up an inch so that I could cut 2.5" out of the tail panel for the diffuser. Now there shouldn't be that much interrupting air flow out the back.

It's removable to be able to test proof of concept. Same with the little spoiler. I just need a real hot shoe to drive it since I probably wouldn't notice anything.

Thanks Vince! The spoiler took some thought. I want it to look like it could have come on the car, so the center notch was never even a thought.

Shop is busy, but Dick can't find a good body guy... Like they just all either don't exist or if they do, they've gone into construction for the time being.

Car looks great Matt. Love the diffuser. I'm with Vince.....a little taller on the rear spoiler.
