Ralph, I hope the surgery goes smoothly and without incident, and that your recovery is quick. You are definitely right about the Inland Empire summer heat, and reminded me, it might finally be time to get the AC charged.

Greg, whether it be running green lights and crashing into old ladies, or missing shifts and destroying transmissions, you can count on me to try and help stimulate our economy

BTW, this reminds me, Josh missed a shift in the DC Camaro the same weekend I did. He has been busy with work, but hopefully he updates his build thread, because his car is making even more power than it used to (not that it needs it - holy hell was it fast before).

Hey Matt, nice update. That spoiler looks great on there.

And thanks for the info on the T56 Mags.... I will be sure to cross that off my potential tranny list now. Nothing wrong with missin a shift once in awhile... if you're not breaking stuff, you're not driving hard enough.

It's funny, I really didn't want to push the car and miss third. I shifted around 5500 (6800 redline). The 2-3 shift had always been a bit notchy with the pro 5.0, and I'd missed it at least once racing, but don't for the life of me know how I managed to slide it into first. Usually I'd just hit the side of the gate, etc.

Anyway, the T56 should still be towards the top of your list. In fact, I happen to know where you could get a slightly used (7000ish mile) one with Viper internals, and for a good price no less. :unibrow:
