Greg - How's the fuel consumption with no load?

That thing looks gooood in white.
And I think it's big enough to make Rodger look small(er). :_paranoid |

Finally made Sun Valley this afternoon... got my wifes new bike put away in the garage... so for the most part the trip is nearing an end.
Went to the Wendover Air Base Museum this morning -- that is where the Enola Gay flew from and they did all the bomb drop testing etc for the nuke... DANG KOOL place desperately in need of donations to restore etc. So before you get to Wendover - you have to get thru here.... http://i919.photobucket.com/albums/a...me/file-14.jpg At Wendover -- if I had my trailer these would be mine! LOL http://i919.photobucket.com/albums/a...me/file-15.jpg http://i919.photobucket.com/albums/a...me/file-16.jpg http://i919.photobucket.com/albums/a...me/file-17.jpg The "end of the road" at Bonneville.... No I didn't have the guts to drive the rig out on the salt... http://i919.photobucket.com/albums/a...me/file-22.jpg 10 MPG empty..... figure 7 loaded up. EEEEEEHHHHHHAAAAAAAAA:cheers: :woot: |

SW....
this thing is as quiet as my S63... and drives just about as nice! I'm truly blown away. There's a couple things I'd do "better".... bigger fuel tanks (I'd hang 100 gal per side...because fueling at truck stops is a hassle and the fuel flow rate of the nozzles is HUGE so bigger tanks would take it better) and the window switches are CRAP! They'll all be replaced. Sport Truck RV really does a nice job building these. It's twice the truck the SportChassis brand is. But, of course, they're also different costs too... so.... |
Glad to hear it's meeting/exceeding expectations! Anybody make 100 gal tanks? Fuel mileage is impressive considering the package. A 1200+ mile range would be convenient at times, can't say the $800 bill would be. :wow:

It's not really the range as much as it is the size and volume of fuel the truck stop pumps pump. The larger tanks would just take the fuel far easier. As much coffee as I drink - I still have to stop every 5 miles. I owned a 47' Grand Banks... with 600 gallon tanks... and twin turbo charged Cummins... so I'm used to the plastic melting fill-ups. :faint: |
That thing gets better MPG then my O'l 2002 2500HD 8.1. Great pics as always
