If your gonna shave the drip rails leave the body line as some definition along the roof, if you smooth it off completely it changes the roof line proportions and makes the roof look taller. Just my .02

By the way ---- was shooting my Tactical Solutions .22 and hitting steel at 224 yards (suppressor helps with velocity).... LOL what a hoot!

That's impressive. We need some range time. I say we head to TX and hunt hogs from a helicopter. :bigun2:

Love it! I'm hoping that finish on the dash and door tops is final, it sure looks good, flat or semi..whatever, it works.

With the color you've picked, what goes down as a base? Light or dark?

 :flag2:

I think it's a medium one.... Jim is working on the car so I've stopped calling and asking questions. :BlahBlah:

UPOL Raptor. Seems to be the way to go from what I've read. Jim says it looks better in person and turned out better than he expected. Messy, but good.

You drove out here and didn't let me know.... :smiley_smack:

Sorry man. It was a quick trip and I actually spent a day in the shop working on the car with Jim. Have to admit it was a lot of fun though. I'll be back up that way one more time before I bring the car home. Have to bring all the stainless back that I took out to have repaired and polished. I'll give you a heads up when it happens. You will have to swing by Jims and check out the car and then maybe we can grab some dinner.

You got that right. It was great to see the work Jim does and go over the car before the work was covered with anything. It takes a lot of talent to do it right.

Jim really tried to get me to do this! It's a no go, but I believe your way is the right way. Looks nice and clean and keeps the lines.

Well it's been a long day for Jim and he's got a little further to go. Sealer applied and it's ready for color.
