Incredible sound and physical feeling standing about 8 feet from that thing.

My issues (the car) were actually all based on a weak ignition ground.

Experiencing that pro stock motor in person had to be something!

Thank you... and BOTH! I plan to drive it on the street as much as possible. I moved last year out of the city and for the first time I have a garage of my own and nice streets and roads to cruise around in.

She's lookin' Davey!

Regarding street use I'd suggest you put a good attorney on retainer in the near future........preventative maintenance. http://www.desmonorthwest.com/forums...lies/cool2.gif

I'm very surprised to see this monster of a mill running a mechanical fuel pump. I run one too but dont make the HP this one does.

I married well. But I actually handle fighting the traffic violations in this house. Go figure.

I'll just put around on the street with this and make noise with it. The get up and go will only be done on a track.

I contemplated electric but mechanical can handle big power too. My pump is from CV Products (Think: Nascar) and it is good for up to 1200 lbs per hr at 8 psi. Nickel plated for corrosive protection.

Plus I just like that is a mechanical and I have a carb. Minimal electrics. :D

I gotta say it Brett, your new shop has never looked better. LOL

I think I may be more excited about Dave's car coming together than mine. I still think my exhaust is cooler---but I think he may beat me on the aggressive side of the sound.

Lillard and I will be gettin' Social Security before this thing drinks any E85 and makes it's own wheels go roundy round. And we'll both probably be in the home before some ol' FE motor does the same...

Still not sure you could make up those 3 car lengths at RTTC on me.

Since 2002 I am 8 for 9.... 6 for 7 for myself.. 1 for 1 for my wife and 1 for 1 for my brother-in-law. And yes I am serious. I really need to start a side business.

Anyway, I'm not sure where all this stuff goes. However, I do own a gas torch and plasma and I'm pretty confident I will find a creative home for them.

:lmao: :lmao:

Dude I have no idea what any of that is or where it came from. Is that the right pile of parts? Whatever. Just make it work.

Yep. Bog em down with lengthy and insanely detailed paperwork, diagrams, etc. I really don't speed or get tickets any more. Probably because my daily driver is a FORD and it won't go past the speed limit.

This is the Dub Renner version of a disc brake protector. Sure I could have made it smaller, but that's how we roll around here.

Always go Dub, more page hits that way. ;)
