Found this trailer while just cruising around Racing Junk....
Part of it would be PERFECT for me! A guy that's never seen "enough" tools.... Check out this tool list!!! OMG!! :willy:  http://www.racingjunk.com/New-Traile...SuperSize=true |

Nasty trailer - but the tool list was/is certainly impressive! I'm still waiting on all the drawings for mine -- after my trip to the dealer in Chandler and a great discussion about how to "do" mine.... Raising the floor in the living area to get the headroom down to "normal" but giving me bigger tank storage for water/grey water etc... and giving me pullouts for BBQ and Cooler... It was a great idea! So scrapped the plans we had and started over. I'm my own worst enemy! |

Well.... This is by far the longest "process" I think I've ever had to go through!
That's the problem when you're trying to do "custom" I guess. Renegade has now told me that I can't do "living quarters" stacker longer than 44' with my truck and hitch set up. And I hired Mayflower moving to come and check out my street and driveway and they're telling me a 48' is no problem. But now I'm limited once again by the weight and hitch (mini fifth wheel). So I'm having to split my "I want" list in two parts --- what I want in the garage area and what I'd like in the living quarters. I don't want the garage area to be any smaller than what I have in my current 24' trailer.... That's locked in stone. Any smaller than what I have now would be unusable IMHO. So what get's squeezed is the living quarters. Which leaves only 20' (including the overhang bed room area). We'll make it work - it just won't be as B/A as I wanted. Smaller is actually better for me so I'm okay with that. But what a process. You don't know any of this until you say --- well I want this and this and this.... you wait a month and they say "NO". Crap -- tell me up front so I can work with something!!! Argh! |
Lucky for me -- I was smart enough to plan ahead a bit when I built "the shed" 8 years ago! The big door (actually my brother in laws suggestion) is exactly the right thing to have put in!!
http://i919.photobucket.com/albums/a...me/file-27.jpg I need to install the CB and a couple of other things -- so since it's suppose to rain about 5" this weekend -- and it's COLD -- It's nice to bring it inside to do that kind of work!! http://i919.photobucket.com/albums/a...me/file-25.jpg |
