Thank you very much!

Now, if they'll work, all I need is a way to explain them to the wife! :P

Shiny Side Up!

I'd be interested in purchasing a set for a 1969 Chevelle (Dec/January time) if the price point doesn't change (assuming) you'll do a production run.

I say production run because you really don’t/shouldn’t have to wait for people to sign up (i.e. ensure you have demand before building) ... rather it seams once you have the product, it will readily be bought up. Look at this site – this is a product that will sell – sure the price made me cringe and I ignored consideration for a month now – but I kept coming back. I’ve seen a lot of price comments posted (and my wife has given me an ear full) but look at everything else - - I never thought brakes, radiators, rims etc would cost what they cost but when you move to stainless, billet aluminum, carbon fiber it isn’t cheep and when you compare the price to other things it isn’t to bad …. I can’t make’m

I can’ see why you couldn’t/shouldn’t do a production run for 69 chevelles, 67 chevelles and other popular models where there were high production numbers. My guess is if you made 100 pairs of 69 and a 100 pairs 67 you'd sell them all. Its hard for me to round up or bank on a bunch of 69 chevelle owners/builders committing upfront. Its also a type of product that if available you just suck it up because its available and there cool (on a 20-50K build what’s 600 bucks) .. if its not readily available many people will end up powder coating the ones they have and not circling back to see if the’re now avail.

Either way put a notch for the 69 chevelle count - if there not available by January I'll probably powder coat mine and call it good. I'll try and monitor your web-site and this forum to see if they ever come about.

Yea, the cam on the DSE/Ring units is very handy for adjustment. I don't see one on these.

Or am I just missing something?

In any event Fesler makes these for more applications. If you have a Chevelle then the Ring hinges arn't an option..

Like I've already asked for, I need two sets for 67 chevelle/el camino. Thanks!
Great product, as always Chris.

if that's the correct pic on your site for the 65's they won't fit. The early Chevelles (at least 64/5 cannot have the arm sticking down like that one has, it hits the inner wheelwell and the hood will barely open before contacting it.

I just called Fesler. Those hinges will work, but they will also require a fair amount of inner fenderwell cutting due to that arm hanging down. I'm not going to do that at this point.

They may be redesigning them at some point. If they'd make them like their 70-72 Chevelle hinges they'd work, no arms hanging down.
