Maybe if I wanted to goto shows to win, I'd cover my car in a 1/2" thick coat of filler to get a "show quality" car.

notorious

Im actually kind of amused at the amount of controversy that notorious has been getting for the fact that it was given extra time..blah blah blah. Kind of fits its whole personality and its name...hehe.

Bottom line is that the ring brothers, troys crew and all of us had some  on Friday night and Saturday night after they won. A trophy and an opinion from a group of judges wont change our friendship. My dad and my bros can care less because we know the kind of car we got. People will and have talked major sh*t about the nova being untroylike or whatever...but to those people i say this, does your car have 50+ venders that want it for the SEMA show???? It was an awesome time and I also think that Cuda should have been in the top 5. Since goodguys didnt put autocross footage on their site of this car, check out the short video i made :lateral:

Well said!! There is more to this hobby than winning a title or trophy IMO. Whether or not it was Ring Bros or Troy that won - the biggest thing is that they are both class acts. Their humbleness and lack of attitude just makes them better. I have talked with both many of times and they are as good as they come.

This is the last thing I'll say on the subject, as this is going to head south real quick.

Going to?

It's already there, in my opinion. It would be nice if we could all just be celebrating the fantastic cars, new ideas, and genuine friendships in the industry instead of bitching and whining about a judged award that doesn't decide how nice your car is. It is a nice accolade, for sure, but if your car is beautiful, and you are happy with it, it will still be just as beautiful with that open spot on your mantle.

WOW this is entertaining :D

Let me start off by saying, I feel everyone on this site can build top quality rides. I havn't seen a car yet that was built by a builder on this site that was not show quality. Car shows aren't always about taking home first place, it's about "Showing off" your car, giving amateur builders like myself something to drool over, and having a good time with fellow builders. As long as you or your client is happy with the car thats all that matters in the end. :lateral:

kenny isn't bashing anyone, and if he was he was bashing himself included.
kennys got class, which apparently you or fesler do not

I know Kenny and Travis they are some of the coolest guys I have met.Kenny speaks his mind gotta respect that. Personally there car should been in there but it wasn't. That Top 5 was tough wouldn't have wanted to been a judge, Was cool to see another buddy in the Top 5 Roger Burman that car is sweet.

You know if your ride didnt place must be a reason. figure out why. then fix it

syborg tt 07-15-2008 03:33 PM

okay really I don't care about the cars

Did anyone get pics of the Indian girl in the Black Dress - That's all I really care about.

Please Please Please tell me someone got a picture of her
