I'll finish up the outer tulip shells this week and then move on to the dash. She's finally looking like a car again!

I need to tweak the seam sealer a little. I wasn't completely happy with the way it turned out. It actually looks worse in the pictures than it does in person. There's a few spots that need a little more to make it more of an even look.

Hey Chris i started the tare down on my car and i think I'm going to just cut all the sheet metal off myself and have someone else reattach the new quarters trunk pan floor pan roof etc. To save some money i would do it myself but i don't wanna chance messing it up due to the fact I'm on a budget as is but i was wondering what tools work best for this job? and once i do gut this thing out would the skeleton of the car still be strong enough to drive up on a flat bed to haul to the body shop or would i need special bracing? I might even give you a call here in the next few days if your not to busy because i have a few other questions

If you're cutting all the metal off, and plan to haul it somewhere for metal replacement, I personally would build a body cart to put the car on and then brace the heck out of it. I even used 1" square tubing and welded from my cart to the rockers. Basically, my car is welded to the cart in 4 places (I think). You're gonna need to brace the heck out of it if you plan to move it. Call me anytime after 5:00pm CST. I'd be happy to talk to you about my learnings through this process. If you need my number, PM me.

Got the outer tulip shells welded on, welds ground, and epoxy primed. I also sandblasted the lower dash during the week and primed it as well. I hope to have the upper and lower dash welded completed over the weekend.
