The stupidest thing anybody has said about my car was said by my sister. I was on day 3 of working on her car, installing parts that I bought because she could not afford them and doesn't know there is a problem with her vehicles untill something won't work. She comes up and says "So are you ever going to work on your '55 (I have a '56)? You should just sell it, you are never going to finish it". My response shall not be repeated :mad: .

The runner up was some random older guy, back when I could drive my car.
Guy: What is that?
Me: 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air.
Guy: Chevy didn't make cars in '56.
Me: Really? Why is that?
Guy: That is why you always see "1955 dash 1957". They didn't make them in '56 because of the war. You must have a '55 because the '57 four doors were all hardtops.
At that point I walked away :rolleyes: .

The oddest thing was a sweet little old lady. She walked up and said "Nice '56 Chevy. My son was conceived in that car." and then she walked away :rofl: .

Had my 96 GRANDSPORT out for a quick ride ,I had to stop for some gas . A guy in a new Challenger looks at my car and proceeds to tell me '' I SEE IT DID'NT TAKE YOU LONG TO JUMP ON THE DODGE HASH MARK BANDWAGON'':_paranoid I just smiled and told him to go do his homework on the Corvette GRANDSPORT , your about 47 years late!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a '69 Camaro with license plates that read: "ROKN 69", followed up by a license plate frame that reads "'69 Camaro".

I still get asked "What year is it???"

I've been told I have a very sharp looking Chevelle.

And it's been called a Mustang on more than one occasion. I especially loved one comment, "That's a nice SS Mustang!" Hmm...

my girlfriend pulled a good one this weekend and said "your stupid f*cking car"

i got pretty riled up and there was a small dispute.. i think that is one of the dumbest things she could have said..

I got one of those this morning at the gas station. Guy asked how much I paid for it. I said I didn't buy it, I built it. He said, Cool, I could do that. I said, it took 3 years and $50K. He didn't say another word. :rolleyes:

Those are just a few, also a bunch of people think my camaro is a 67-69 when it is a 70.
