No worries. Have fun in Pleasanton and scuff those Falkens in so you're ready for Scottsdale. If I'm not too burnt out I'm going to try and make that show. I've never been good at the ol Good Guys Peanut, but there will be a lot of familiar faces out there for me to cheer on in the shoot out, and I would also like to run against a few of the cars coming in from the mid west.

I have been using grip tape on my clutch and brake pedals for a little while and the clutch pedal tape shreds after a good track day, for daily use it can go for months without tearing, my question is what some of you guys are running on the pedals

Rod!!! You know they make some really good pedals right??

Okay -- just checking.

:censored: LOL I know, I was hoping that maybe there was a better grippy tape that is being used on race cars, I don't need all that fancy smacy billettitaniumalumiwaterjetted stuff, just a good grip tape and some good driving shoes

GregWeld 10-30-2013 09:27 PM

Okay ---

Well then -- hit your local SKATEBOARD shop and ask them for some Grip tape… it's not a brand - they'll have many brands and probably even colors.

3M's Safetywalk comes in rubberized and mineral abrasive adhesive tapes. Like Greg said a skate shop may be a good source. Their adhesives typically work!

Home centers may carry the rubberized meterial for non-slip tub/shower applications. The mineral products are sometimes sold for exterior deck step and ladder applications.
