Great choice of ride. Your shopping list is spot on so far for your intended goals. Like Tracy and Kenny Ive always been a "rodder" at heart. I should have kept my 34. Be watching this one closely due to the fact its on lat G and I dont have to go to 15 other sites to check it out.

Yeah -- I actually hesitated to even post it up -- but figured "we're all car guys".

I'm a hot rodder... but a hot rodder that likes his performance as in brakes - handling - new tech stuff. So I'll try to upgrade this POS just a bit and get it to be a little more car than it was. The IRS is just to match the front suspension - but should also make it ride nice too... it already has Wilwoods -- and they'll throw you thru the windscreen. As you know - there's no weight to stop! I will use the Inglese 8 stack and the EZ EFI controller. Works great and will get rid of the typical "SBC with a carb"...

nope, not complete no color and no lakester headers etc.

tones2SS 10-15-2010 10:37 AM

That should look killer in that color Greg. Very nice!

GregWeld 10-15-2010 11:19 AM

It's already that color.... which is why I can't figure out why Bob, who is a designer... so says he... needs to see a color rendering. He's seen the car... now just look at the black and white --- and bingo! Ya got it! If he forgets what color it is... he can stop by the shop on his way home for a quick review.

The exhaust was a big "discussion"... I had one look in mind - they had (sort of) a different version. Guess what? It'll be done my way. Sanderson Lakesters. Although I did tell them they are free to build custom 304 stainless headers as long as they look exactly like that or slightly modified if we agree...:D I'd like a more 'customized' dump and block off... than the usual 3 bolt... but we can whack off the Sanderson version and water jet some new "mo betta" ones.:woot:

Yes I can see the car whenever I want, seen it a few times already. Sheesh, I was just looking out for the Lat-g community. WE like color renderings here! So we can get the full effect. I don't need a rendering just a few chicken scratches on a napkin.

I just don't want to pay him for something I don't need.... I'm the kind that would rather buy parts. :unibrow:
