Small update.

Aluminum 2" cowl showed up from AMD yesterday. Looks very nice and is very light! So far I'm impressed.

Also, made the decision to run with one of these bad boys! Finally! That decision was really getting on my nerves.

Talked with Horace and David from Mast and both were very helpful. They were able to work with me and my intake. They agreed to let me ship them my Holley intake and they would dyno it for me and crate the whole thing back up! What a deal! Horace seems to think that the LS3 intake will make more power than the Holley one, I'm not so sure but thankfully Horace agreed to test it for me, which is super cool.

Shooting for 600+ hp. If I (Mast) gets close with 590 or so... I'll be a happy camper!!

That is great motor Max! My buddy bought one for his 67 and it looks great. Still being rigged in for him, but we both think Mast rates the power output conservatively....

I believe I've answered the question: What would happen if I called SpeedTech and only said, "Send me one of everything" LOL

I'm really glad Roger convinced me to have it powdercoated. That was the best investment I think I could have made. Just simply gorgeous color and ultra smooth to the touch, not like anyone is going to touch it, but I know its there and I'm super impressed.

I was expecting something much heavier and bulkier, but this is light enough for my brother and I to pick up easily fully built.

It came packed super tight and nothing was stacked on top, which was good.

This how much packing they throw on it LOL!
