Slow progress,

Cam Swap done, mast pan is on, ATI damper is on, supercharger case is getting ported.

Once the case is back i can put the rest of the engine together.

Clean everything. The Mast pan had remnants of the sand from casting.

Nice heads. Frankenstein is local here to me. He does some good work on his heads. The LS1tech guys love his heads over there.

Thanks! For the price and the flow its hard to beat. they have incredible customer service and a really nice product.

the goal was to over drive the lsa blower but not to the ragged edge. The head flow and cam swap will all work very well together.

Firewall came out great. That's a nice set of heads for sure. Who ported the blower for you? I have a BTR stage 3 in my LSA, the way it looks you'll be running before me. You'll need to post a video so we can hear it.

Thanks! It was a combination of me and a couple friends. We set the blower up in a mill and hogged it out then by hand blended the contours. The snout and injector bosses were all done by hand. All in all it was probably 12 hours of work and ton of cutting, but the difference is dramatic. I went with the JRE rough idle cam which has very close specs to the BTR3. The decision was purely based on JRE doing the tuning since they are local to me. If I have a it dyno tuned by Thanksgiving i'll be happy.

been moving forward....I have been wiring the car. I wanted everything loomed and clean and accessible.

Engine in.

http://i66.tinypic.com/33mob9k.jpg

I used a C&R universal radiator with oil cooler. I made my own mounting bracket and running a spal fan with DCC PWM fan control.

need to move around some wires but here are some of the looms everything is wrapped, taped, i used a combination of zip ties and plastic ring clamps that attached into bolt holes

I have the VA condenser in. I will need to modify the hood latch and support to clear the supercharger hx. The ac dryer will need to be moved as well. I will also tape the core off and paint the sides and tab black. then lightly paint the core to help black it out.

Rock Valley / Vaporworx fuel setup
