I would like the black just to break it up.

It really doesn't match the natural aluminum. I used a aluminum like paint on my pan that is a pretty good match from VHT. I like the body color idea but I think it gets into needing to paint heads and intake, etc.

Once you go black you never go back....

nice job Tony, I'm pretty sure I have an NOS pass lower extension if you wanna try it out.

Glad to see you are making good progress. since you are welding and grinding, one thing I wish I would have done with the stock inners is make them fit the the Speedtech subframe better, maybe extend them in the back?

take care

Motor looks great man.. but I agree it needs some contrast in there. It has 3 colors/finishes that are all too close to -- but different enough from -- each other.

I say either match them perfectly or create some starker contrast.

The block needs to be a different color then silver

I'll have to take a look at what you are talking about, Chris! Thanks for the tip!

I remebered that I have the lowers from when the car was blue, the pass side was a lot better fit that what was on the car. I also may have a OE lower that was on the car....somewhere? :_paranoid

Thanks for the offer!

I agree on needing contrast on the engine. Painting the block will break it up nicely.
