This was from the RTTH event in 2010.

This car is being "modernized" this year to play in GoodGuys and Pro-Touring event soon.

Yes, I do that frequently.......and no I will not tell you to sell it and buy a Corvette. Although the more Corvette like you make it the faster that it would go :)

I like to do this too....as well as teaching people how to drive faster. I "get-off" on seeing people improve and go faster whether it be from car set-up perspective or learning to drive better. I do go out of my way to help people, but it looks as if you are on the wrong side of the globe....

Yes, it was my BSP car that has won numerous SCCA Solo and ProSolo National Championships.

I think that car is going to LIKE fixing all of the things that I was never allowed to do and losing several hundered pounds, besides gaining a couple of hundred horsepower :)

I learned all of my car control skills chasing this blue rocket all over autocross courses....I referred it to riding a rodeo bull, it was gonna throw you off, just a matter of when...

Are you going to preserve the sidepipes? They look "so right" on the Cobra's and late 60's Vette's.

I may have made the Lottery/Vette comment but I respect your driving skills and look forward to seeing what you can do with some old metal. A late 60's vette was swimming around in my head for a while.

Depsite my son wanting me to take them off ( because he burned himself on them ), Those side pipes have always been on there and always will be .

Corvettes of that era are "right" with sidepipes, and it makes the underneath of the car alot easier to work on...... Just watch your step when you get out..

Yes currently the car has a B&B 1970 LT-1 spec motor in it although it is a 1972 car. The original engine is tucked away for safe keeping. However I do plan on putting a buzz-bomb LS motor in it before too long .

In 1989 I firmly planted my achilies on a hot sidepipe getting out of a friends '66 427 Cobra..........an unforgettable moment. :D

Nice....I am running the factory LT-1 slightly modified...

Maybe someday I will pull it and keep it safe, and put in a new motor to go with all the other upgrades..

But for now, it is the screaming small block for me.I do love them and the sounds they make..
