Ditto on the stripes as well. More info on the color also. Are those the wheels your running? The pics make the back spacing look too shallow, almost like your rear end has been narrowed? This car is going to be sick! Loving this!

Thank you for all of the compliments everyone. A little nervous on unveiling it. To answer the big question about the wheels. They are just "rollers". Don't worry. I am hunting and narrowing down the wheel selection. The rear end is a narrowed 9 inch and it is mini tubbed.
The color is a green/greyish. It is called Mystic Green.
We are just waiting on the interior panels and the material from The Shop LLC, so that Jon Lind can get moving on the seats, headliner, etc. and assemble the rest of the interior. I think next week is wiring up the car. I can't wait to hear this thing run!
I really have to give it to the guys up there, they are nailing this car as far as what I had visioned then went beyond. The time frame has been extremely reasonable. They keep the updates consistant. I was sketchy about taking my car 6 hours away, but they have made it very comfortable.

Who did your mini tubbing? What did you use?

Looks like he split the factory tubs and just added a metal strip insert in the middle.

 :superhack:

Bill, Marcus hit the nail on the head. The inner wheel houses were pulled, split and about a 3" piece of metal was welded in. Put it all back together and modify a couple of trunk supports. I am using Eddie Motorsport trunk hinges instead of the stock set up and it took a little more modification. They told me it wasn't too bad to do though.

thanks,

Bill, I don't at this moment. I will call the body shop and see if they do. I saw that that t.v. show Musclecar on Spike is doing a 442 and did the same process.
In short, if you look at the tubs from the trunk you would cut the inner tub where the 2 are welded together in the center drill out the spot welds at the trunk, remove amount of metal from floor, install tub, and fill center of tub with new metal. This is a short version and there is more to it than that, but I am at work... :shakehead:
I am sure someone will chime in about it since most of the cars here have had it done to some extent. Try a search as well, and I will try to get more info and some pics if I can.

Hope these come through. I found these on the post from Ironworks Chevelle build. We didn't remove the back panel the way they did. Hope they don't mind that I pass the pics along.
