Thanks Marcus. The car will be the same as the chassis, which is the new silverado bright silver. I forget the actual name that the tech told me, for the shade. For stripes I am going to put just a smidge of black in my mix to make the silver a tad darker. You won't even see the stripes from 50'. Not really a ghost stripe, but just an "almost" stripe LOL.

Looks really good. Amazing progress in short time. I can't bring myself to cut the trans tunnel on mine and your ready to put it back together. I'll keep watching yours and dream about mine.

I'm planning on body working the tunnel and painting it body color. I will break the carpet at the edge of the tunnel, and leave it exposed. I will place heat retardant material under the tunnel to try and manage temps in the cabin.

Scott, I've thought about doing this myself. Didn't really know how I wanted to do it though, because....like you, I didn't necessarily want ghost stripes, but I wanted them a tad, shade darker than the paint on the car. I didn't know how to go about doing it because I figured I'd have to try 2,000 different colors to get the right shade of darker blue. Can't wait to see how yours turns out.

I re-introduced the body to my chassis. I think that they were glad to see each other again. I was really happy to remove the body from the rotisserie for the final time. Anyone need a rotisserie?
