Evan, yes... is was a decision based on labor time. It would have been a significant amount of work to put all of the ribs into front and back of the raised panel so it matched the original bed floor.

Did you guys make this? If so, super impressed I am. That is really deep to go with the pullmax without taco-ing the whole thing.

Thanks Donnie. It was all made in house. I can't give away all of the secrets, but I can tell you that we use special anti-taco spray in cases like this.

There's just not much a guy can say about this exceptional quality of craftsmanship ----- HA!!! See how I slipped that in there!?!?!?!

Only bad trend I see happening is when these '68-'72 C-10's get built this way, how will the young gearheads coming up ever find out that a '69 Camaro is THE PT ride they're supposed to have?

:D

I am a truck guy, so this build is off the charts for me! I only wish I could do something this cool soon....

:king:

Amazing work as always from you guys!

I love this build!!

Phil, you guys are always such a truckload of inspiration for those of us in this hobby.

When it comes down to it..........it really doesn't matter how deep your wallet is.

But after looking at any one of your builds, it just pushes a guy that really loves building or tweaking a car (or truck), to dig deep down and make the best use of the skills that you have, and the tools in your garage......to build something super cool.

Sorry, I always get geeked up checking out your builds!! :thankyou:

When does the RS ever disappoint:headscratch:

Hmmm

 NEVER :hail:

Beyond the quality of everything you do you guys always seem to pull something cool out of your bag of tricks on every build.

Thanks again for the compliments!

The latest episode is up: Designing the truck

The narration is good, but I heard Sam Elliott would do it for a custom RS 'stache trimmer.
