RICK D, AND RON, you to boyfriends?

We draw the line at personal shots. And although you are two different people you're definitely related to each other, pretty easy to figure that out. ;) You guys are more than welcome to be fans of the Seahawks, just drop the other stuff.

Then drop it 100% and get back to talking about football. Not one more cry baby, negative or nasty post from you in this or any other thread or you are gone. One and only warning.

Guys, there is too much parity in the NFL today. It's more than just comparing stats and saying, "X" team is better than "Y" team. These guys are all good and hence in the NFL for a reason. Some fans may figure certain guys don't belong, but they made and NFL roster for a reason. Players play the game to win and don't show up willing to lose. Sometimes the coaching or play execution is what causes them to lose. But, just because it looks good on paper, as far as stats are concerned, doesn't mean a team will go out and win or lose. I live in Dallas and I'm a Cowboy fan of course. But, I'm willing 2 bet nobody thought Dallas would put up 48 points on Denver last week and only lose by 3. Players show up every week to win, not lose. Just look at perennial power teams that are struggling right now....Giants, Steelers, Falcons. Then compare that to the usual sub-par to average teams....Chiefs, Bengals, Browns. Besides, any real football fan knows that the second half of the season is where it's time to start grinding and digging deep within yourself to stay competitive. By the time the second half, those last 8 games, you're banged up, playing with injuries, tired from week-to-week traveling, being asked to carry the load and do more because a starter is not playing and a player from the practice squad is now your new center, guard or wide receiver with not too much playing experience, etc. Then, lastly....the slate is wiped clean in the playoffs and everybody's suddenly equal. Just ask the 16-0 Patriots who lost Super Bowl XLII (42) to a regular season record of 8-8 Giants in 2007. Ohh, one last point. Playoff contention is not measured solely by the best overall record. It's measured by the best conference record. Therefore, a team can be 10-6 overall with a conference record of 3-5, putting them in 2nd place in the conference. And a team with a reagular season record of 8-8, can have a conference record of 7-2 and be number one in the conference. The playoff format only accepts the #1 team from each conference. So, with saying that, all this jazz about being 5-0 or 7-2 up to a certain point doesn't mean squat in the regular season if you don't end up in the #1 slot in your conference. So, your favorite team can beat the snot out of all these non-conference games and lose the key conference games and they'll be at home with you watching the playoffs, doing this..........:hairpullout: or this......:bang:

You can't take anything away from them. They are ballin out of control. Their defense is unrivaled....Thomas, Sherman, Chancellor, Irvin, etc. We'll see how it goes when it's "nut checking" time though.

They don't call secondary "legion of boom" for nothing! Yes we will see can't wait until Percy Harvin and rest of injured offense comes back

We probably should all agree the seahawks are the best and end it on that note. Call it a wrap.

The best "right now" and the best when the battle is over are two difference things. I'd rather be the best when the SB ring is on my finger. That's all I'm saying. Then there's no question, no debate, no opinions.

I thought we were talking football here?? Is that becoming a problem now??

I'm confused:confused18: Denver and Kansas City are both undefeated. Last week Oakland beat San Diego and Indy beat Seattle. This week San Diego beat Indy. Does this mean that Oakland, Indy, San Diego, Kansas City and Denver are all better than Seattle.
