Having followed this car for many 100's of miles..... I came to realize that in my humble opinion -- it was way cooler in it's natural patina than the three high zoot painted cars in the group..... That's not baggin on them at all - because I've never driven a car that I liked more than HellFire... It was just that this car is such a sleeper.... and to me that has an undeniable appeal. Once again "the man" has laid down tracks for others to follow.

If you follow the instructions the calibration with the kit is very good. I did a custom induction tube, swapped to tilted supercharger bricks, Did the 2017 "Big Lid" and did a PWM (Pulse Width Modulated) fan. If you stay with a 4 inch induction tube it should work great.

Mark,
Can you expand on the "Tilted" Supercharger Bricks? I've read the magazine articles on your build, but don't remember seeing this.

Larry

That's my Dad Don Stielow and he is Mayor of my old home town, North Kansas City Missouri. He is in his second term and doing a great job.

Always fun to hang out with you. I hope to be chasing your '40 next year! Thanks for the kind words.

I had a lot of fun building this car but I kind of copied Gordon's Rojewski's blue Camaro. With out doing paint and custom engine build this projects can go fairly fast.

See the attached link for photos.

It shows the "tilted Bricks" and the bigger intercooler lid. The big bummer is you can't just buy the bricks you have to purchase a whole new blower.

Hi Mark, you are not using ZR1 CC brakes? What braking system are you using, how would you compare them in stopping and weight? Gunner looks pretty awesome in original paint.

LOL ---- that would take some doin' on my part!

I'm not sure the poor old '32 Sedan will ever recover..... HAHAHAHAHA. You have no idea what I just spent having the original Danville Dukes plaque repaired!

I just jacked up the crate LS3 in the '40 to a Don Hardy 550hp..... mostly in hopes that I can keep within sight of your tail lights!

I used Stop Tech brakes on this car. I have used them before on Red Dehilnand they worked great. Iron rotors have more pad compounds available and do not need as much cooling as CCM. If you run CCM you NEED big cooling ducts.

The Stop Tech stuff is great. No issues. Great brake feel and they look great.
