As far as doing another set..... it is nearly impossible to do anything of this nature without the actual car. Every piece is unique in its own way. If it were something to be done, I wouldnt be able to guantee the fitment because of the varibles in relation to the quarter extension fitting flush on the quarter and having the spoiler mounted so that the height is correct as well as it all lining up. Also gapping comes in play when triming the quarter extensions. The exact dimension of our set-up may not be the exact as yours. Then you may have a larger gap on one side than on the other. etc.
I think with the info provided, a experienced body shop with some custom work under their belt should be able to get the job done. But I can tell you this.... it'll be an open ended est due to the nature of the job and not being able to put an est. time on it !

Very Cool Steve, and I agree about the difficulty of the job. On the three I have owned, I took the idea (ten years ago) to a few body shops to have the work estimated and two flat out said "no". One said he'd try but would not guarentee the results. Yours is awesome, man excellent job.

By the way thanks for all the responses and the pix. Will it be at SEMA?

nothing wrong with being a ford guy.i like most older cars no matter who made it. ill laugh if most people dont know you change the quarters like that. i have a 68 coupe thats a california special clone but i put the gt350 side scoops on since they are functional i only had one guy call me out on that. how much more you got left to do on it.have any thoughts about a rollbar like the shelbys had.

Started the fabric Conv. top today.
Then we still have:
-power door locks and windows
-wire some misc items
-wire gauges
-install seats
-wire stereo
-fab some front bumper braces
-misc trim items
-fab some tailpipes
-install weather stipping and fuzzies

Thats about it. Basically alot of odds and ends like wiring.

The biggest item to do is repaint some panels. I am not happy with some of the finish on the front fenders. Slight sand markings in the prime coat are showing through the top black coat. Black is a bitch ! Nothing too major.

if you dont have the power door and windows autoworksracing.com has both

Thanks Andrew.... I've had them in boxes from day one.
The top is beautiful!
We used the Mercedes Benz Fabric (like denim).
I'll post some pics soon.
Working on a few wiring gremlins that seemed to pop up. (Actually I am just finding excuses not to give this back to its owner  )
This car has been a blast building..... is this 'ol chevy guy turning ?
