We decided against mesh. Mesh won't keep the rain and snow out, but if you imagine moving all of those pieces of wire together, they will cut down on airflow-probably by 30%. We've all been doing without mesh for 30-plus years. Our goal was to dress up the area without cutting down on airflow. We can black anodize them. Anodizing is pricey on Long Island. Figure on $80-$85 in black. Maybe less. Maybe more.

Steve is that out the door or do you add $80 dollars on top of the 55 dollars?

Naw, Total. Part and hard coat for $80. I think. Might be less.

I'm in. Hmmm - anodizing. I was going to powder coat but I think the anodizing would look a bit cleaner. Can't wait.
