If you're anything like Ron this could just be camouflage. Your probably out buying new wheels, front end, rearend, suspension, stereo etc..etc...this could go on for years!:poke: :underchair: Getting close Ron, anticipation has got to be killing you. Gonna be awesome when it's done.

Outside qtr panel shot, 3rd from the bottom shows nice crisp lines. Hard to tell from a web pic, but it looks like the paint will layout real flat.
Congrats Bob! A very exciting time in your build  |

Great looking build. Do you have any detailed photos of you pulled of the fuel filler neck? I actually want to do this on my 69 but not sure what steps I need to take to make it happen. I will be utilizing one of Rick's tanks as well.

Here are some pics of the amazing amount of product you need to paint a car. I'd like to thank Mario at US Collision for the supplies.

Car was put on hold for a bit, while the crew at Mortenson's Custom touch paint, was working on finishing a SEMA project. They started back on my car this week. They primed the car one last time and the car is now on the rotisserie. They will be working at seam sealing everything, clean the frame and work the firewall, then bedliner the bottom and paint the frame and firewall.
Then they will paint the car. How long? I don't know? |
