That looks GREAT!
and the stance looks great in my opinion... I do think that a 19 in the rear would have evened out the backs largeness from the nova booty but I aint mad at it at all. |
Very nice!
|
2 small details.... But thats what they are usually no!??
One- are you planning on letting those outside inner fender bolts 'painted blue' or changing them out to some polished or black ones? Two- is the interior slated to receive the wood insert in the console as in the door panels? I was thinking a maybe somtin like a carbon fibre inlay on the door panels wood stripes could /would add a little sparkle and blend a little better with the seats than the actual brown of the wood imitation... There and in the console. Unless the idee is really a resto look then i get it, but having gone so far mod wise.... Not much of a resto type!!! But id get the "spirit" if it is what your after. Getting there.... and growing on me lol!! Lead. |

The stance looks much better but one would think that Kenny took these pictures.

Thanks for all the comments on the stance.
The rear wheels are 19" so it will fill up the wheel well better than the 18" that are on it now. There is a lot of detail work that needs finished and the bolts on the front fenders are one of those details, they will be button head stainless bolts. Marty, it was late last night and the camera on the phone was all I had, wish Kenny was here to help but I would not let him take any pictures. Alan Budnik sent pictures of the wheels, but you will have to come to SEMA and go by the booth to see them. They are really COOOOOOOOL! I have to go to Charlotte for the Goodguys event next week so it will be a mad rush for the last four days to have it all done and driving for SEMA. I leave Friday, have to be in Las Vegas for Halloween.... Ed |

Ed, it looks great even with those wheels!!!
This car looks better in person than what the photos are bringing. I have to admit, when i saw the car in sheet metal, it wasnt doing it for me. But after seeing it painted, in person, yeah my minds been changed. It looks like the factory did it. Ed, my offer still stands if you need.... Whose doint the exhaust? |
I like it

Looks great, Ed. You guys have done a killer job. Now when's the dyno going to happen :D
|
Trey,
While we lite the fire in the LT4 this weekend and finished most of the list of stuff we had on the car that we had parts to finish. I have the event in Charlotte this week so nothing will be done. By the time I get back the wheels from Budnik, the Radiator from Ron Davis and the Gauges from Classic Instrument should all be here and ready to install. We may Dyno the motor after SEMA, we will see. Hope to see you all at SEMA. Ed :thankyou: |

Cool build Ed! I will be looking for it at SEMA. The double takes that car is going to get will be great!
|
That's what I figured, Ed. I'm just glad you guys will make SEMA with the car.
|
wow
That is a very impressive build . I know it's not everyone's cup of tea , but I agree there is some fabulous craftsmanship in that car.
|
It looks great Ed, it should confuse a lot of people until they realize what you've done to it. Nice job.

I am headed back from Charlotte to finish the car and get it in the box to head to SEMA on Friday. The radiator showed up from Ron Davis along with the Gauges from Classic Instruments for the Camaro center console. Budnik shipped the wheels that are so cool that even Alan's wife called me to tell me how much she liked them! See you all at SEMA, car will be in the HRIA/ ARMO booth in Hot Rod Alley. Ed |
I have pics of the wheels. haha

Well got back from Charlotte, what a great event it was!!
Received the gauges from Classic Instruments with the Oil Temp as the forth gauge since the dash has the Fuel Gauge. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...ps039becb2.jpg Also the Radiator from Ron Davis was there when I got back. Since there is not an off the shelf radiator that will work with the LT4 in a NOMARO I had him build this one so all the outlets would be right and the hoses would work. They also put two big electric fans with shroud on the engine side. Should keep it nice an cool.. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...ps14a0cf65.jpg Jason, I have pictures of the wheel too...But they are going to be here today to mount so I will see them in person. They are pretty trick!!! ED |
just saw Nomaro on the ride tech facebook page looks good, its the same wheel option I was thinking about for my nova.

Here it is at SEMA in the ARMO booth #23395
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...ps9d064fdb.jpg It is funny listening to all the comments good and bad. Enjoy. Ed |

bad?... thats one of the more original builds ive seen in a long time..
the only thing I chuckle on is that they say you just stuck a 69 front clip on a Nova... do they not notice the rear?.. lol. I do say this the "yenko" stuff hides the rear mods slightly.. its more noticeable without them.. I love it.. but thats probably why they dont notice the rear fenderwork as quick.. either way.. bravo! |
Wow Ed I love the wheels, those fit perfect with the rest of theme! Let's hear some of the comments? I still like the way it turned out, it looks so clean just as if the factory had built it.
|
x2 I really like the wheels. Good job Budnik!
Ed, the car came out great. I really like the job you guys did. |
I received a call from the Ultima Street Car guys and they wanted to offer the Nomaro a ride at the shootout this weekend. As that is a great honor the car is just not ready yet. Maybe next year!
the car is getting lots of looks. Thanks for all the comments. |

I have to say Ed that it's really well executed... and that photos don't do it justice overall.
|
Have fun with it, Ed!
|
