Lenie, awesome inspiration, so hope you do not mind me getting some cues from your build for mine :)
What are you planning to use for the fog lights on the Camaro valance? I came across some LED setups which seem interesting. |
No updates to speak of but had a new rendering done. FOULPLAY. Thanks Shawn.

If it looks anything like that rendering, it will be sick.
Are you planning on doing the wheel hoops in black and centers in brushed? That would look fantastic with the black paint I think. |
OH YAH ! Sweet.

Looks Killer, really like it Lenie

Thanks all. Flash the hoops will be gloss black. Jeff, long time. Looking forward to seeing your car. Post some picks.

You might wanna close your eyes and ignore this update if billet is your master.
Marquez billet blinker housings now my driving lights. Just finished powder coating and installing them. The remaining pieces are my Clutch rods, I'm using heim joints. They're also now powder coated. Took awhile to talk myself into this! http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/9881/dsc02136h.jpg http://img809.imageshack.us/img809/470/dsc02138o.jpg http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/291/dsc02142y.jpg |

Looks Great, Lenie!
|
Car looks great.....
A bit off topic - but any chance you'd be willing to part with some of your non-show quality parts? We are building a give away 68 Bird and are looking for some trim items - tail lamps, side markers, bumpers...and various trim pieces to get it together. |
Lovin the car Lenie

Found an old thread by David Pozzi showing how to relocate my shifter to it's original position so I've decided to try and give it a go. Pictured is the first half of the move, I fabricated a new relocation plate using 3/8" aluminum plate instead of steel, moving the shifter 1 1/2" down and 1" forward. Next I will have to change the husrt shifter making a stick adapter extending it up 1" and 2" to the right. Hope it works out.:_paranoid
http://img651.imageshack.us/img651/3...vetrain002.jpg My sound deadener showed up today along with my new Dynatech 3 1/2" aluminum driveshaft. I'll get these items installed as soon as I get the hurst shifter relocated. http://img846.imageshack.us/img846/4...vetrain004.jpg |
Nice looking drive shaft. Getting New parts are always good.

Hey -- I think I see one "speck" on the tiles that is odd size... how did you ever let that slip by? :hail: :hail:  |
Everything looks great except that drive shaft angle. :unibrow:

It looks great Lenie. Keep plugging away at it.
