Yea I also mentioned it in the dyno thread that I am going to run the "other" pump fuel E85. I dumped some $$ on an E85 carb build this week and the motor goes back on the dyno the first week of March. It will be interesting to see the comparison. I'm bummed I don't have the time to go and participate in the dyno run this time. :(

I'm meeting Blair the middle of March in CO to pick the motor up so I'll finally have all the big pieces home.

For this build I'm leaning towards some vintage Torque Thrusts...

You could go with bigs and littles -- 16 X 8's on the rear and 15 X 7's in front. And some RWL Tiger Paw wide ovals.

But then I'd have the same wheels/tires as your 33 :D

I'm surprised nobody has had the conjones to ask about the Kirkey seats yet.

Are you going with them for weight reduction?

Just sayin'

I love the Kirkey seat especially after seeing what Bret did with one in the Ridetech '33.

I think it is the lack of photo quality that is driving people away.

I'm going Kirkey for both form and function. I want something that gives it a Nascar vibe but is functional. When Brett did his pads in the 33 it really got me thinking of doing something similar but a little different. I figure black, a little thinner, with parallel eyelets ala GT40. When I saw Troy's Torino he did for Poteet I was sold on the idea. Yea the fact that Brian H used them in his Corvette and his 73 didn't discourage me either.

Yes, I don't want to add weight. All joking aside my car isn't that heavy and I want to keep it that way. I wanted a pair of these or a set of Ford GT seats but didn't have the $$

It's been a lot of goofing since I posted Ben's rendering of what I'm after.

Glad you're making progress and your car looks bitchen dude

I ran a ultra light Kirkey sprint car seat in my drag car. One of the most comfortable seats I've ever owned
