How much camber were you running in the pick ? looks like a ton from that angle .Any chance you shortened the upper A arm and took some -camber out ? Just guessing here .

It was nice to see that ad when I opened up Hot Rod the other day.

My suspension is all custom Maier Racing suspension. The A Arms are actually fairly long, upper and lower. I run anywhere from 2.5 to 3.25 degrees of negative camber in the front. The rear is a solid axle Ford 9" with a Maier Racing 3-link with a Watts link.

Getting ready for 2012 and went to the first SCCA Autocross event of the year. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at RTTC in a few weeks.

Wow, I NEVER get tired of seeing this car. Just awesome.

Did you buy or fabricate your hood? I noticed the "scoop" rises to one level and stays that way all the way back. The aftermarket cowl style hoods I've seen have a continuous rise that I don't care for. If you bought it, where from?

Love that car Brian.

The hood is from UP22. Typical of all the fiberglass hoods. We cut out the spine and lowered the hood to get the look I wanted. Here are some photos of the work we did.

Grinding down the raised body line

Thanks for the info . You have a bunch of work into that hood. And it turned out really nice looking.

Did you like the quality on the UP22 aka Unlimited Products hood? I've been on the fence about getting a L88 hood from them for some time now, the thing holding me back is knowing how much work some fiberglass panels take to get them to fit.

It was okay. The cowl was not even from left to right side near the windshield side. That was one of the reasons why we had to cut it down. Other than that, for fiberglass, it was okay. I believe there are better hoods out there. Since I was not fitting it to a Camaro with existing steel fenders, I do not know how the fitment would be.

Brian - Your making it very difficult to not buy a 2nd gen Camaro and build this wild idea I have for a 72. Man that thing is bad. I love orange and I love 72 camaros.

What color did you use on this?
