Looking good Greg, did you ever decide on painting the grill? If not I say wait till you've got the entire package together and see how it looks.

Sometimes it's best if you have a friend, or someone you hardly know, drive and you follow down the highway. That way you can see what it looks like rollin down the road, just sayin. :unibrow:

How's it go? Eeeeeeehaaaaawwwww

At least you'll be on Medicare when it's done, haha. You know we are looking for a new venue for the lat g party at SEMA. This will work just fine.

It took some work to get the plant/management to realize my tractor could haul this... I finally took a picture of the GVWR and rear axle spec etc. :woot:

That is a big ass trailer. I hope you like staying in it at rest stops when on the road. Cuz your not getting that in a camp ground or a hotel parking lot. I have been there done that. Plus your stuck eating at truck friendly restaurant on the road which means the food will suck when traveling.

I like the rest stop sleeping cuz your right back on the road. But late at night it can be tough to find a spot to sleep on the park at sleep along the highway. Between rest stop sleeping and a huge fuel tank you can really put down the miles.

Do I get my man card back because of SIZE??

Rodger --

The whole reason for this trailer with LQ is to NOT have to go to hotels unless the truck is already at the track etc and I can just back a hot rod or car out and go to one... like when we're all at Thunderhill. AND the fact that I hate "on the road" food... so would be FAR HAPPIER just making my own stuff... and I have a two state (Washington and Utah) concealed carry permit (and the balls to use it) -- due to planning on "off the road" up an exit or whatever sleeping arrangements.

I usually leave Seattle at 4:30AM - and in the winter it's raining and dark and crappy so by the time I've hauled 10 or 12 hours... which puts me in a rest area etc at 5:30 or 6:30PM... That's the beauty of this thing -- I can go and stop where I feel like - without reservations.. Without having to wrestle a parking spot at a hotel and blah blah blah. I figure I'll just back her up into Charley's driveway and camp for the night.

I can actually make Thunderhill with the truck and trailer in one day - but that gets REAL OLD as I get real old.... and then what I want to be able to do is to leave there and then just fuss around going where I want to. Now with the Sun Valley place -- I might be heading there instead of Seattle... etc.

I tried and tried to make it smaller -- but the living quarters -- or the garage area just gets squeezed to where it doesn't make any sense.

Once you get used to the rig you will be able to practically whip through the drive thru.

Looks like a nice lay out.
