Love it, and what your goin to do with it.....

I don't think it will leak at all… the rubber trim on these new Speed '33 bodies is pretty well engineered… or at least that's what I'm hoping for.

It won't get driven in the snow -- and would only be driven in the rain if it gets caught out… and yes -- it has Vintage Air heat and A/C… and defrosters even!

Brizio built cars are known for their legendary reliability and touring. That is probably the number one thing you'll hear about a Brizio car -- they get driven and they get driven long distances.

As for drive-ability I think that is what sets Brizio apart from others is they get built to be driven. When Greg's car is done Roy will take it out on a extended test drive. Every year the Brizio gang does at least one extended cross county road trip.

I hope she won't let me drive it… But I won't refuse her if she asks politely.

I weighed them and since they're behind the axle line -- they should work out okay.

Rather than do what ROB is trying to do -- which is to overcome all the obstacles (he prefers to call them a more politically correct "challenges") -- by adding power to the anchoring system -- er -- sorry I meant to say power plant… I think 480hp LS3 motor should be perfectly adequate for my wife's driving style.

480 hp in that should be scary!

I hope so!!! LOL

Yeah -- that's plenty of motor… and the thing won't hook up - look at those skinny little tires. PERFECT!!

Thanks Jay!! It's not pro touring… but I'm okay with that! I've got the two track cars to play corner carver with… and this really is being built for Gwen… Thus the super simple motor and automatic trans etc. I'm just not sure if I hope she loves it or hates it.

I know those panels, let me re-word it - sheet metal intake manifold cover with louvers.

So Gwen's not embarrassed when she checks the oil...... :D

No…. Gwen has "people" that check oil… and I'm not building an FE motor.. so there's very little checking to be done.

Roy showed me a couple "engine covers" they'd done -- they were HORRIBLE… and I'm not a fan of engine covers anyway. It is what it is… FUGLY… so just keep the lid closed.

Of course it doesn't "need" more power, the suggestion was to address your comment on intake manifold aesthetics. Since you have the room I thought the magnacharger would look nice.

Edelbrock pro-flo efi would look nice and drives great as well.

Oh I knew what you were suggesting and why… I was just trying to yank everyone's chain.

This is one motor/trans combo I'm not going to do a single thing to. Just bone stock factory stuff. I want to spend more time with the building of the new house here -- and skiing -- and golfing -- and tracking the other cars… and a lot less time tinkering with "stuff". This whole build has been about SIMPLE. Not one single thing invented.

If the motor has an issue -- I have a GM dealer 11 miles south in Hailey. He can plug into the OBD II and tell me what sensor has gone south.. and can order one from the catalog. Plus the motor has a warranty -- although maybe voided by taking the intake off… IDK.

Maybe Dave could source you some nice curtains?

Keep it simple and smooth looking.
